Visiting the miniature horses

Dale's Uncle Albert raises miniature horses. He often takes them in parades, and he loves it when people come to visit and go for a ride. Here are some shots from a couple of weeks ago.

Each horse can pull a cart with two people, effortlessly.


Aleta communing with a foal. (I believe this one was born late spring or so).


An adult nuzzling Aleta. She has little fear when it comes to animals, although she wasn't quite sure what to think of this affection! Compared with the photo above, notice how there is not a lot of height difference between the baby and the adult, and all remain close to Aleta's size.


Aleta and Sam are becoming good buddies.
