Dinner in the field

Well, it's harvest time again. It's been a tough go of it, with machinery breakdowns and uncooperative weather. The crops have been ready to combine for some time now, but it keeps raining, just starting to dry out, and then it rains again. The last few days have been good, however.

On the long weekend, Bev and Nestor, Kim, Chad & Sebastian, Liana & Ryan, and Pamela all came down for a visit. While they were here we had dinner in the field with the work crew. The guys were all helping Dale and Ken. Eleanor is very experienced and talented in the art of providing meals to farmers hard at work. Those on the sidelines enjoy it too!!!

The next day we had another dinner in the field, although all of Bev & Nestor's offspring had left by then. Dave has been working with the guys, and Albert came out and joined us for this meal too.
